The food was good. It has a nice outdoor seating area and was what you would expect from a normal Mexican restaurant.

Long wait. But the food was decent.

Family owned and operated with original recipes. Chile Verde is outstanding! Great lunch specials, too!

Popped in for a quick bite to eat and got two cheese enchiladas and a basket of chips and salsa for free. Everything surpassed my expectations and the guy behind the counter was exceptionally nice. Look forward to going back!

As a Latino, i am very picky, and this place is bomb! Albondigas sopa is incredible.

Very pleasantly surprised. The food was, in all honesty, very good! The portions where the right size for my wife and I, although my 15 and 16 yr old would probably have wanted more.The salsa is just amazing. We couldn't get enough of the chips and salsa.This is definitely another restaurant we will go to again. You can't go wrong having breakfast, lunch OR dinner here.

This place is one of our favorites. Best chips and salsa. Shredded chicken, shredded beef, chili Verde take your pick all are great! This family owned restaurant offers tremendous service and great food. The large patio in the back is perfect for a nice lunch/dinner when the weather is just right. Great value for even better food.

I absolutely love this place. I get a chile verde burrito around once a week or two and it’s delicious. The family service is great and they are so friendly. Would give this a 6/5 if i could.

The patio is a nice place for dinner. INCREDIBLE salsa with their chips.

The food is excellent - good, straightforward, familiar Mexican standards done very very well. The thing I liked most, though (besides the fantastic quality of the food) was the service. Absolutely delightful. I'll be back.

Excellent every time! Never miss a chance to have their pork Chile Verde wet burrito. Chips are fresh, warm, and plentiful. I would eat here every day if I could. Tonight I had the #8 Combination with burrito, chicken taco, beans, and rice. SO good! The Verde sauce is almost addictive.Their weekday lunch specials are such a bargain. Forget bland drive through, go to La Costa Grill for the same price and WAY better food.I was the only diner in-house, however, I saw several to-go orders leave with happy customers.Anthony is the nicest guy and I can tell he and his family care if their customers are happy or not.They have a spacious patio. Pretty good free parking in a busy lot shared by the Arroyo Grande post office and Miner's Hardware.

This is the first time I tried this place and it was really good. I have been wanting to try it for awhile. I am really glad I did. I had combo plate with a beef taco and a cheese enchilada with rice and beans. I was not disappointed, very good. I will be back again.

Order as many Fish tacos as you can handle on your next visit. They will find out they are the best tasting and low priced in all of central coast and will raise the price.

I love eating here. It's quite, quaint , friendly and has good Mexican food. Dinning out doors on the patio is my favourite. By the river and once in a while you get to see one of the famous chicken's stroll by.

My go to place for the best Mexican food and service (even the Grand kids love it.

Enjoyed an early dinner here today! Gorgeous day so we sat out back and enjoyed the very pleasant atmosphere, not much seating inside so I would go when you can enjoy the patio. VERY friendly people with a surprisingly large menu! We really enjoyed our tostada and shrimp and avocado platter ad well as a nice cold beer! Service was prompt and the place was spotless! We highly recommend giving this great family a try! We will for sure go back!

Everyone was nice but for me the food was ok.

Try to order some food for lunch and we love them. Good salsa that's my husband said. I had chichen enchilada and it was yummy while my husband had chile releno. There are some outdoors seating area with the a great view of the creek

Easy good eats! Friendly family run! Small and simple, with riverside dining available. Lots of traditional homemade Mexican food available, and some very unique options as well. I had the Enchiladas Potasinas, they were yum!

Best grilled tilapia fish tacos amazingly cooked and great taste! I had the fish and shrimp salad. Yummy! Ask for the delicioso spicy blended salsa if you like the heat. A hidden gem of AG.

Food was horrible. Not what I was expecting after reading all the 5 star posts. Did they lose their regular cook? Must say that this is the worst Mexican food I have ever tried.
